Haircut!

I've got myself a new haircut!
I lost about 5 to 10 cm! It's really weird cuz my face looks completely different now..

I've got something else that I want to show you guys, true old-school 70's glasses. I found these in a drawer on our landing. They turned out to be my dad's! Hey really wore these in the good-old-hippiedays. I think they look great, but I don't think I will wear them in public. So you guys got the scoop! Here's a picture of them

Queensday (and night)

It's been a while since I last posted! In the meantime some very exciting things happened, so I've got a lot to tell you guys! First of all I downloaded some very inspiring music from Billie Holiday, which inspired me for some new artwork. First I made a really awesome sketch of her with just my water paint pencils , which turned out really really great! Then I decided to create a painting which was based upon this sketch. In this painting I added some musical notes and just a tiny bit of colour. The painting turned out pretty good too, but I still like my sketches better. I will post some pictures of my sketch and painting soon, so you guys can decide for yourselves!
The seccond thing I wanted to tell you was my adventure at queensnight. Queens night is the night before queensday and in this night the whole city of Utrecht is transformed in a giant party! We started at the birthday of Raisa (HAPPY B-DAY DEAR RAISA!!!(again)) who turned 18. The entire cellar was filled with people -and hell yeah, it's a big one- and the party was already getting started! I was smart enough to arrange a place in Utrecht where I could sleep that night and we all started our journey to the centre of Utrecht. Then there were about 7 hours of partying, involving: silly hats, bad 80's music, lots of friends, lots of vodka and lots of cigarettes. All and all it was a great party! The next morning wasn't so great though. Since I had a lot of vodka and I hadn't had a whole lot of sleep, I had a giant hangover. But after an awesome pancake breakfast I was feeling a lot better. We spent the rest of the day browsing through all the stands and listening to several bands who performed throughout the city. But when our favourite band of the day started, the police made an anouncemend about an attack on our queen, and that the rest of the festivities were canceled out of respect for the families of which family members had died. After that announcement we decided to have a gathering in the lepelenburgpark to party on over there! This was quite fun and we had a great afternoon. I had dinner at Timo's house which was nice and went home at about half past 10.
Overall it has been a great week, but next week I really got to focus on my final exams! I've got a lot to learn!

My new favorite movie!

Last night I went to the beautifull city of Utrecht. My friend Bas had called me to ask if I had any plans for that night, and when I told him I didn't he invited me to come with him to the city. When we were on our way, we got a call from nobody less than Raisa! She's my sister from another mister and I sincerely love here to bits! It turned out that Raisa and Bas had already decided to meet at the Lepelenburg-park earlier on.

When Myself, Bas and Lennart (who had joined us in our quest to get shitwrecked) arrived at the park, we found out that there was a crate of beer waiting there for us! The following 3 houres we had a great time and were joined by Emma and AJ. When I was about to get my bike to go home it started to rain. Luckily Raisa offered me that I could sleep at here place.

At Raisa's place we decided that the evening hadn't ended, and we decided to smoke a spliff in here bed. Suddenly Raisa got the urge to watch a disney movie, and she asked me which I wanted to see. I told her that I would like to see "Mulan" since I hadn't seen that movie in years.. She then decided that it had been a bad idea to ask my opinion and started "Sleeping beauty". While watching the movie, I found out that I had never seen that movie before! I don't know if it was the spliff or the movie itself, but I got mesmerised. The three fairies are so sweet! And the movie had every cliché you would suspect in such an oldschool Disney movie, which I love!

One of my favorite scenes from the entire movie is when she is dancing in the woods with the owl and meets her prince charming! The picture is s from the very start of dancing scene. Here is a link for the actual dancing part. How I love this movie!
